Jubilee Pastors

Today at Harvest, Ron and Tonda Byrum serve as Pastors of the Jubilee Ministry, a
vibrant community for adults 50 and over. Jubilee gathers monthly for worship, food,
fellowship, and the Word—encouraging one another to finish well in the faith, echoing
Paul’s words: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the
faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7)

They believe wholeheartedly that as long as we have breath, Jesus still has a purpose
for us (Job 27:3). Drawing from their own walk with the Lord, they are passionate about
encouraging older believers to share their life lessons, model godly living, and bless the
generations coming behind them. They champion the truth that, as a Christian, aging is
not decline—it is discipleship. It is embracing each season with faith, wisdom, and
purpose.

As A.W. Tozer beautifully said, “As long as you remain on this earth, God has not
completed His work in you.”

Together, they are parents to six children and grandparents to 28 grandchildren. For
more than 30 years, they taught the Bible to both youth and adults, served as church lay
leaders for over 50 years, and spent the last 25 years training and supporting foreign
missionaries.
